Visitors with patients may order a guest tray through the room service menu for a $6 charge, from 6:30 a.m.The room service menu offers breakfast options all day and a choice of main dish lunch and dinner options, along with many additional side dish choices. Orders are delivered within 45 minutes of the order being placed. Patients may order room service between 6 a.m.A water and ice dispenser is also located at the second floor vending area. They are located on the second floor near the emergency room waiting area and intensive care waiting area, and on the first floor near the medical/surgical unit. Vending machines for snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day. Salad and Sandwich Station: open until 4 p.m.įree coffee and tea are available for visitors and patient families in the seating area diagonal to the Café on Fourth.The Café on Fourth is located on the first floor of the hospital and is open every day, from 7 a.m. Walk-ins are available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. Preference is given to patients with appointments. By simply walking in, you can receive a mammogram at a time thats convenient for you with a doctors order. Lukes Breast and Bone Health offers walk-in mammograms. We encourage anyone who prefers to mask to do so. Three locations make breast cancer prevention easier for busy women. Visitors are encouraged to mask in inpatient rooms to help reduce the risk of respiratory illness for vulnerable patients. Patients and visitors should mask in all UnityPoint Health - Grinnell facilities if they are currently experiencing respiratory symptoms or for ten (10) days after a known COVID-19 exposure or a positive COVID-19 test. Certain areas, such as intensive care and maternity, will have specific visiting instructions. Please check with the patient's nursing staff for any particular guidelines. Our main focus is to assist patients to a healthy recovery and to provide the best quality care possible while keeping our patients, team members and communities safe. Visitors will be asked to leave if they are not willing to comply with these requests.Visitors must follow PPE (personal protective equipment) instruction, if requested by a team member.Cleaning hands frequently during the visit is recommended.
